Cori helped us pull-off an incredible trip. We were looking at Aruba and Bonaire, but realized that flight options and scheduling was difficult. Cori recommended that we go to Ambergris Caye, Belize. She helped us find good flights and a beautiful resort. Both the diving and the food were outstanding. The Coco Beach resort that she recommended was well-staffed, friendly, and an awesome place to stay.

Cori went above and beyond to keep us apprised of the activities from day to day, and she provided a lot of information pro-actively and opportunities to ask her any additional questions we might have. Excellent guides for all our excursions and activities, we felt very well taken care of. Special thanks to R2D2 and Jose Arturo for taking such good care of our large party! I loved all of the activities we did! In Sacred Valley, the day with Moray, Maras, and Ollataytambo was a bit overstuffed. I get that geographically, it makes sense to do them together, but everyone seemed completely wiped out from climbing the temple at Ollataytambo after walking the ruins in Moray and the salt pools at Maras. I suggest doing Ollataytambo on a separate day.

This was our first trip to Japan and we were feeling a bit overwhelmed planning. We wanted to see Tokyo, maybe Kyoto, not sure what else. Luckily, Cori came to our rescue. We talked about what we imagined doing. She was able to help us narrow our scope and she gave us an initial itinerary. We changed hotels, added tours, cancelled tours, got shuttle service, luggage service (do this, so convenient) and kept it all in our budget. The country was better than expected, in every way. I cannot wait to go again. Cori made it all possible. Thank you and can’t wait to plan another trip.

Cori did a fantastic job of listening to what our needs were and setting up a seamless trip. Our favorite memory from the trip was driving around Maui and lunch at Mamas Fish House. Maui is a beautiful island and we would go back. We would consider staying in Wailea next time based on weather patterns. Less rain and wind there and more convenient to getting around the island. We would absolutely work with Joyful Journeys Travel again on future trips.

The little box of goodies we received was fantastic, too! We would not have thought of cooling towels, the badge holders for train passes, and the luggage tags, which came in handy. It got everybody excited for the upcoming travel. We appreciated the hotels that Cori selected for us. The proximity to public transit made it easy to get around to and from destinations on our own. The amenities and included breakfasts were awesome! The staff at the hotels were able to accommodate our mix of simple Japanese and English communications to help us get everything done that we wanted to do.
